¡Bienvenidos a Español 1! This is my third year teaching and my first year at Arab. I am excited to be working in this system. On this web site I plan to have weekly lesson plans so that if you are absent or just a parent trying to keep up with your child's school work, you can easily access it here. I will also have tutoring help sites!
**On Tuesdays and Thursdays there is tutoring offered at the junior high from 2:30-until we are finished. If interested come to room 8! I hope to see you there! |
Lesson Plans for week 2/16-2/19
Monday- Professional Development Day
Tuesday- Read paragraphs about favorite holidays and allow class to translate. This will give you a grade for this assignment. Begin preterite irregulars p. 290 (ser and ir), 356 (hacer) and R21 (ver). Practice by using exercises from book and writing their own sentences using each verb twice. They should have a total of eight sentences.
Wednesday- Review irregulars. Pass out worksheet that is attached to this website and go over caber, haber, poder, and poner. In groups, they will work on a way to remember these irregular verbs and share these with the class.
Thursday- We will cover saber, querrer, venir and tener using the worksheet. In groups, they will work on a way to remember these irregular verbs and share these with the class.
Friday- Cover conducir, decir and traer using studyspanish.com. Practice in class and play a review game with matching cards. |
